Never mind, I figured out where all the plugs go thanks to the "Setting-Up a Linksys Router with Cable Internet" section in Technical support. When a wireless client attempts to connect to the internet after automatically receiving an IP from the E1200, they do not have internet access as the default gateway that gets assigned is the IP of the E1200 - 192.168.2.100, which is not correct. The fist step to accessing this page is to check your router's local IP address.. Oh, further, now that I'm able to, I went looking in. Firstly, you need to be sure that your router’s IP address is 192.168.1.1. I can get to the setup page, that's all I need. I tried using that IP, I also set the default gateway to 192.168.1.1 on my computer's side and it managed to connect. If you buy the router from Linksys manufacturer, your default IP address will be 192.168.1.1. This manufacturer provides many models which are best suitable for home usage and small and medium-sized business. So thanks. It should all be fixed now. I have my E1200 connected to my Netgear FVS318 router (which is a wired router) and the Netgear is connected to the internet. Is your default gateway 192.168.1.1? The DHCP server was disabled for some reason. I followed the instructions there and clicked on the links to other directions, and I finally got it all hooked up correctly. Unless it is changed, your Linksys router's default local IP address (also known as the Default Gateway) is 192.168.1.1.. The default gateway shows up as 192.168.1.1 now. The web interface is a page where you can configure your Linksys router's settings.
