The mid to high range of this mic is really exceptional and I found myself centering up the pots on his channel after having to tweak him across the board as the Audix (great mic on it's own just not very road worthy) sound was getting really muddy, The warmth and fullness is only experienced not read about with this guy. table#t90 thead tr th#t90.end {
The Audix was starting to sound crappy and this was even more apparent after the e945. It will be a good match for the female voice while offering that extra rejection and gain before feedback, which you will occasionally need for some stages. A very knowledgeable and helpful person! I would highly recommend this microphone to any one who needs a quality vocal microphone for live use. Both are said to be suitable for live performances as well as studio uses. I was happy with those, but found this on sale and am glad I did. He is extremely fond of it as well. Worth it. You will only think it costs too much money until after you buy and use one. I am a sound tech for my church. The added gain lends a clarity to my vocal that I didnt have before. One more nice thing about Sennheiser E935 is that it doesn’t have too much low-end so that it won’t produce too much boom. Very smooth EQ curve so EQ'ing at the board is a breeze and no surprises like on other mics which have an odd-ball peak or dip. Meanwhile, the Shure Beta 58A performs decent enough given its lower price tag. Vocals sound excellent without the need to tweak them during mixing. }
Best money ever spent . They should be durable and rugged but at the same, shouldn’t be dull looking. For years I have been an advocate of SM58s - not any more. It's an extremely solid option for live shows! However, the rear rejection is not as strong. }
