The drawers slide well and they are a good size. The boxes were heavy so we had to take the product out and carry the pieces upstairs. Again like Ikea, they use snail fittings to hold the main components together; however the fixed posts for these are slightly odd - they work on an expansion principle, so you need to push them home, then pull up on the center pin to hold them in position (this is where the pliers help); turning the snail fittings then pulls them harder and locks everything in position. This piece is easy to assemble, but the directions could be a little clearer with the hardware. The hardware included did not fit the set, and I had to use my own screws to make this work.
