Oh, content about this card? Doubling Season is the best doubling season type effect because it only applies to your cards. It turns out that this thought process would be further refined but the end result was amazing — better than I could have hoped for. It’s fantastic early in the game. Grave Pact effects and other cards of mass destruction tend to play well with this one, so whether you’re just playing haymakers or building up to a big Exsanguinate, Black Market can make your first main phase very exciting. It’s just an amazing card and extremely undervalued. Finally, cards like Harmonize and Yavimaya Elder are just decent inclusions whenever you need another couple card advantage effects. However, getting two different basic lands one on the battlefield tapped and one to your hand means that you are technically both ramping and mana fixing. Some of this should come as no surprise: big-mana has a way of ending games and green naturally honestly ramping into big mana. Just a very good card to have overall and is our number 8, Players who have made the biggest impressions in the NBA bubble. Having a flying blocker is great and you don’t really hear players talk about this aspect of Birds of Paradise. Even in the realm of enchantments, green has some remarkable ramp options. The level of redundancy that green provides in creating this resource advantage is also very important. It’s a devastating, powerful and must have card for any green deck. This strategy offers so much versatility and options for your during game play. Red: 19 You see where this is going. I tend not to run this because the search effect flies in the face of what I enjoy about Commander, but if you’re a fan of those effects, this is an obvious inclusion. I started with a dual color EDH deck, and then picked up a four color. Let’s take a look at some stats I pulled from EDHREC: White: 27 I’m up to 5 decks that are all pretty good in my humble opinion (6 if you count the other pre-made deck I bought but subsequently broke up). An early burg is great but unless the deck is like [[tatyova]] and you just draw an assload of cards it ends up being a very dead card late game and turn 1 it’s great but then you gas out and make an enemy out of many people. With this card, it goes straight to your hand. But alas, change is the spice of life! Format: Commander User Submitted Deck Deck Date: Oct 19, 2020 Archetype: Ashaya, Soul of the Wild. Which is pretty much the same card as Kodama’s Reach. I would run Wave of Vitriol merely to watch the wave of vitriol it usually causes when you make a 4 or 5 color deck sac all their lands without replacements to search for, but I run too many utility artifacts and enchantments for that. When I play green in EDH… You get to bring cards, whether it’s creatures or just cards period back from your graveyard to your hand. 39 of them have green in their identity! EDHREC relies on ads to pay server costs and fund new features. Since you're playing huge hydras, might be good to look at [[Traverse the Outlands]] to fetch out the rest of the basic forests you have. The biggest problem with relying on those is that, unlike lands, they get destroyed pretty frequently. You want efficiency paired with the ability to play your creatures, getting extra land drops allow you to do that you and you get more mana to work with. [[Gargos, Vicious Watcher]] will more than likely be the commander. Some creatures that produce mana are  Birchlore Rangers, Birds of Paradise and Gemhide Sliver. Another one of those Birds of Paradise types of cards which is why it’s on the list. Let me know in the comments or on Twitter at @RagingLevine, and I’ll see you again soon! Upon doing some further research I figured I’d pick up some cards that would help with ramp as green does it best, and then just throw out huge beaters to win the game. In the same vein, I also enjoy Druids’ Repository quite a bit. Kodama’s Reach is the ninth most played. In commander, there are a lot of combos based off of creatures. With Green decks you have cards that remove flying from a creature until end of turn Canopy Claws is a great example. Collective Unconscious and Shamanic Revelation are incredible in decks that want to go wide on the board. Good times. Black: 25 Every ramp effect outside of the color, like Magus of the Coffers and Dreamscape Artist, is discussed with the phrase “good outside of green” attached. Finally, cards that rival the green ramp spells! You’re getting an extra land drop, you’re looking at your top decks and you’re deciding whether or not you want to play the land. Green believes that everyone has a place in the world’s ecosystem. It’s what you want in a ton of decks. Just don’t try Farseek in your mono-green decks. However, in green, the lack of card draw and the lack of consistency, beyond just mana ramp, is quite noticeable. I made a couple of dual color and one tri color deck as well, and then I started thinking I should probably try a mono color deck for shits and giggles. Spending one mana to ramp one mana is an interesting break-point for this style of card in EDH. Also, Green can break the “play one land each turn” rule with certain cards. I have a personal soft spot for [[Krosan Tusker]], which isn't technically ramp but it's 2-for-1 at instant speed that guarantees you a land. Once your account is created, you'll be logged-in to this account. That’s where this gauntlet’s dark legacy really lives on. Yes, it’s a very simple card but, what it brings to the table is something that is fundamentally important to this game and this format. Visual View Stream Popout Having a 0/1 out there can block for fliers and that’s about. Cards that deal damage to creatures with flying, cards that destroy creatures with flying, punishing an opponent for having flying creatures and so on. If you’re playing tokens, this is almost a definite win because it pretty much gets that trigger off and all your creatures get that huge buff and gaining trample. Many of them provide great rates on mana acceleration, such as Overgrowth and Wild Growth. There are plenty of artifacts that make mana. Unfortunately, that puts a big target on them, so get as much value out of them as you can while they’re still on board. The fact that you get to flicker her over and over again means that she combos with cards like Eerie Interlude.
